Alarm Technician

This position involves performing service, installation, and/or inspection of systems, working independently and with team membersThe technician will seek and accept guidance from senior personnel while also providing guidance and support to those less seniorThe role includes assisting the Technician Manager (TM) as necessaryPerform installation and service of low voltage systems in accordance with Federal Alarm minimum installation standards, the National Electric Code, manufacturer's instructions, and Federal Alarm Safety PolicyFacilitate the service of common systems in your area through effective communication, leadership, and organizationService and repair common systems in your areaAssist more senior personnel in the service of complex systemsProvide training and support to less senior techniciansResponsible for customer on-boardingOperate job-related mechanical equipment (bucket truck, scissor lift, trencher, etc.)Communicate work in progress according to currently accepted procedureUnderstand and complete all UL, FM, and other required paperwork, as requireA willingness to learn in an ever-changing industryBasic knowledge of low voltage electronic systemsAbility to meet strict deadlines consistentlyKnowledge of Access, Fire, Intrusion, and CCTVBasic knowledge and understanding of IT and networking infrastructureExperience with hand tools and various power toolsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)An understanding of drawings, blueprints, plans, and job specificationsAble to work well with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as customersAble to work independently, with little or no supervision while still providing a team-oriented attitudeMaintain proper dress code and appearancePossess a valid driver's license with a good driving recordWilling to travelBe able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening processAble to obtain NICET I CertificationMust be able to work weekends and evenings as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr Clarion Security LLC
