About the Position

Opportunity:

Travel- Sonographer (729) / MC Lewisville / M-Th 6:30A-5P

Job Details:

• Monday through Thursday day shift from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Perform general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound procedures
• Required certifications: RDMS (AB) or (OB) and RVT (VT) or RVS from CCI, BLS
• Must be able to float between General Ultrasound and Vascular Ultrasound units
• Rotating on-call requirement shared between 7 sonographers with on-call coverage from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Work with equipment including GE Logiq e10, Parks Flo Lab, and Trophon2
• Use EMR systems including Meditech and GE Centricity PACS
• Perform procedures including abdomen, pregnancy 1st and 2nd trimester, biophysical profile, vascular studies (venous doppler, arterial, grafts, segmental pressure testing), biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, testicular, NICU neuro sono heads, surgery cases, and high level disinfection for intra-cavitary probes
• Experience with vascular, pediatric, general, procedural, small parts, and OR ultrasound preferred
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to work well with others
• Dependability, reliability, and punctuality are essential

Facility:

This 196-bed facility is staffed by 800+ healthcare professionals and operates both a General Ultrasound unit and a Vascular Ultrasound unit. The sonography department is equipped with modern technology and is supported by a team of full-time and weekend sonographers, with night coverage provided via on-call staff. The facility utilizes advanced imaging systems and electronic medical record platforms to support comprehensive diagnostic services.
