Accounting/Admin Assistant
Warm Beach Senior Community is a non-profit ministry of the Free Methodist Church with 59 years of service to the elderly and the community. We are looking for an experienced Accounting/Admin Assistant to join our team!
The Accounting/Admin Associate is responsible for accounting duties primarily including payroll processing and accounts payable. Responsibilities also include assisting with year-end accounting, preparing for audits, working with computer systems, and organizing work and setting priorities. Assisting Human Resources with data input and general clerical duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full-cycle payroll processing in ADP Workforce Now.
- Accounts Payable processing.
- Assists HR with new hire preparation and acts as a backup for new hire orientation and other clerical HR duties as assigned.
- Perform other accounting duties as specified.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of payroll processing; ADP Workforce experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable processing; QuickBooks Online experience preferred.
- Knowledge of tax rules (sales/use tax, 1099 reporting) and internal controls.
- Understanding of General Ledger (GL) systems and accounts payable principles.
- Some HR knowledge preferred; Understanding of federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
