Family Medicine Residency Faculty Physician-Grand Junction

About this role:

As a Faculty Physician in Family Medicine, you will work with 11 other well-established Faculty Physicians committed to teaching and providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, a nurse practitioner, care coordinators and integrated behavioral health providers.

• This position includes a $15,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 in relocation assistance, and $50,000 in student loan repayment when applicable

• You will practice at St. Mary's Hospital and St. Mary's Family Medicine Clinic in Grand Junction, CO

• Our schedule is reasonable and palatable; it has been developed over the years with input from all of our faculty.

• A typical week includes 2 clinic half days, 3-4 clinical precepting shifts, 1-2 GME half days, and administrative time.

• Inpatient weeks include med/peds admissions as well as OB and newborn care. Minimum of one call shift per week of inpatient.

• Weekend coverage and intermittent call are part of the call responsibilities.

• Call is from home until needed in hospital.

Compensation:

Annual Base Salary: $221,000
Quality Incentive: up to $20,000/year

Call: $250 per point, max call cap $45, 000.00

What you'll bring:

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine

• ABMS board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine with/without OB

• Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one

• BLS certification and DEA

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
