European Sales Engineer
The Acute Care Technology division of ZOLL Medical Corporation develops and supplies innovative, life-saving products and software solutions worldwide for emergency services, hospitals, authorities, and the military. Products include AEDs, trauma kits, ventilators, temperature regulation solutions, and much more. This is a remote position with travel required approximately 50% within Europe, mainly in Western Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Fluent knowledge of German and very good English are required.
Job Description: As a European Sales Engineer at ZOLL Medical, you will be a technical expert with direct customer contact. You will act as a bridge between the companys technologies and customers, helping them understand their value and ensuring a smooth sales process. You will work closely with ZOLL Medicals direct sales team (hospitals and emergency services) and our distributor network to support the sales growth of ZOLL Code Data throughout the sales process. While sales representatives handle all commercial aspects, you will take on all technical aspects as a sales engineer.
Required Experience and Soft Skills
- At least three years of experience with SaaS solutions (Software as a Service)
- In-depth knowledge of networks, including firewalls and certificates
- Experience with data-based solutions and the integration of third-party or external systems
- Passion for understanding technical contexts and solving customer problems
- Experience in matrix organizations and working with CRM systems
- Strong communication skills: ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to different audiences from end-users to C-level decision-makers
- Advanced technical skills and problem-solving ability to analyze customer requirements, identify challenges, and develop appropriate solutions
- Presentation skills: ability to conduct convincing and informative product demonstrations and presentations
- Experience in supporting a sales organization with a focus on complex enterprise software and hardware solutions
- Experience in selling software and/or medical capital goods
- Willingness to travel regularly within sales regions (approx. 50%), starting from the home office
