RN Supervisor

Role: RN Supervisor at a skilled nursing facility, overseeing unit activities and staff, ensuring quality patient care, and responding to resident needs. Key Responsibilities Organize, supervise, and coordinate nursing staff and unit operations. Monitor and document vital signs, treatments, and patient responses. Administer medications and treatments as needed. Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and medical staff. Lead emergency responses and ensure safety protocols are followed. Perform assessments following incidents or changes in patient condition. Maintain accurate reports, staffing sheets, and census records. Identify and address disciplinary issues per policy. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external vendors/services. Qualifications & Skills Current RN license in New York State. Experience with geriatrics, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer's care preferred. Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience a plus. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to work under pressure, flexible, and team-oriented.
