Mold Maker - Direct Hire The Mold Maker position is available in the Fitchburg, MA area. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of injection molds used in the medical device manufacturing industry, which is known for its high standards and innovative practices. Pay Rate/Salary of the Mold Maker: $40.00 - $50.00 Hourly, with potential for overtime. Responsibilities Provide technical input on mold designs and manufacturability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for routing, planning, and problem-solving. Accurately log work time to appropriate jobs. Set up and operate tool room equipment to produce components to tight tolerances. Troubleshoot issues during assembly, testing, or production, and develop corrective action plans. Qualifications Technical Trade School Certification preferred. 5+ years of experience with machine tools, mold design, and fabrication. Strong mathematical skills related to part geometry and trigonometry. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings.
