Job Description
A Licensed Plumber works independently to install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role involves frequent emergency calls, scheduled routine maintenance, and project-based assignments using manual tools. The plumber ensures compliance with codes and safety regulations while delivering quality service and maintaining clear communication with customers. This role may have an apprentice with them at times as well. This position offers opportunities for growth, including advancement to a Master Plumber.
Responsibilities
- Install pipes, fixtures, and plumbing systems efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and system troubleshooting
- Adhere to plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Respond promptly to emergency repair calls
- Conduct safety checks and site clean-up after work
- Interact professionally with customers to address concerns
- Use manual tools effectively for all plumbing tasks
- Ensure proper drainage and water supply system functionality
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of plumbing experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Plumbing License
- Knowledge of pipefitting and water supply systems
- Familiarity with drainage systems and safety compliance
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
