Maintenance Technician

Overview Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Responsibilities Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment incl. bearings, couplings, conveyors. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Collaborate with team members to improve equipment reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. This position is a rotating 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am schedule. Two-week period on days and then two-week period on nights with days off in between.
