Position Overview As a Plumbing Assistant, you will work alongside Lead Plumbers on residential and/or commercial service calls. You’ll help prepare job sites, handle materials and tools, and perform basic plumbing tasks under supervision while learning industry‑approved techniques, safety standards, and customer service best practices. Duties & Responsibilities Assist Lead Plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems Load, transport, and organize tools, equipment, and job materials Prepare, maintain, and clean job sites before, during, and after service work Perform basic plumbing tasks under supervision, such as cutting pipe, assembling fittings, and fixture removal/installation Use hand and power tools safely and properly Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and job‑site procedures Support technicians in delivering professional, courteous service to customers Requirements High school diploma or GED required Successful completion of pre‑employment screening Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to50 lbs, bending, standing, and working in various environments Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Willingness to learn the plumbing trade and develop new technical skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Basic problem‑solving skills Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Competitive hourly wage Paid time off and paid holidays Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with company match On‑the‑job training and opportunities for advancement Access to technical training and mentorship from experienced plumbers. #J-18808-Ljbffr Mullenplumbing
