Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) – Lawrenceville, Georgia, United States. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 07/06/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital-based radiation oncology setting. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Weekly pay is estimated between $1,887 and $2,006 per week.

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed external beam radiation therapy to patients according to approved treatment plans.
- Position and immobilize patients, verify treatment site and patient identity, and confirm treatment parameters prior to each session.
- Operate and monitor linear accelerators and related treatment equipment; perform required daily quality assurance tasks.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, medical physicists, and care teams to ensure precise and safe treatment delivery.
- Document treatment sessions, record patient observations, and report any adverse events or deviations per policy.
- Uphold safety, infection control, and radiation safety standards; support patient comfort, privacy, and compassionate care.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the Radiation Therapy specialty.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a hospital-based radiation oncology setting.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and patient-centered approach.
- Eligible to participate in a travel assignment and fulfill the travel requirements as applicable.
