Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Telemetry

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Telemetry

• Active RN license in Kansas (or compact state license if applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1-2 years of telemetry experience required
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
