We are seeking a results-driven Commodity Manager to join our Supply Chain team at Vantage Elevation. Supply Chain and Commodity Manager Full Time Sacramento, CA You'll play a hands-on role in delivering quality, safety, and reliability across our operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree required At least 3 years of sourcing and supply chain experience in manufacturing Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Knowledge of commodity market conditions including pricing, technology, and supply/demand trends Duties And Responsibilities Driving overall category performance by developing and executing global sourcing strategies for assigned commodities Defining and managing supplier strategy and performance, including annual PPV/cost reduction goals and supplier KPIs Leading supplier negotiations, RFQs, and contract execution activities Utilizing cost modeling, supplier leverage, and market analysis to achieve best total cost outcomes Partnering with suppliers to improve on-time delivery and quality performance metrics Collaborating cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, and Procurement teams Supporting continuous improvement and Lean initiatives within the Supply Chain organization Presenting sourcing strategies and supplier performance updates to senior leadership Leading medium-sized projects or contributing to larger strategic supply chain initiatives Working closely with the team based in Sacramento and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple Vantage business units Benefits Of Working With Us Salary for Applicants: $110,000-$135,000 per year - actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and in keeping with local legislation.
