Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic We are a family owned and operated full- service sales and service center for SANY, LIUGONG AND GEHL excavators, skid steers and wheel loaders. State Tractor is looking for An Experienced Heavy Equipment Field Technician / Mechanic who is self-motivated, reliable and can represent State Tractor off-site and on-site professionally. Experience within the heavy equipment industry and those who can work flexible schedules for service calls. What are the Benefits? Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair heavy and light equipment and vehicles.
- Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts
- Perform required DOT inspections to ensure service truck is in proper, safe working order
- Tags out of service issues and informs Supervisor.
- Professional etiquette and Team player attitude
- Travel is required to assist customers.
- Ability to complete service calls efficiently and on time.
- Mechanical Experience in the heavy equipment industry.
- Background clearance to travel to Railroads.
- Stable work history.
- Valid DL and ability to obtain Medical Card.
- Team player attitude.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and lift test.
