Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

• Float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier City facilities
• Provide cath lab nursing, including circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing procedures
• Support complex interventional procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, coronary diagnostics, and peripheral vascular interventions
• Administer vasoactive drugs and sedation, monitor critical patients
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., Merge, Philips systems)
• Collaborate with charge RNs and support staff on the unit
• Maintain sterile technique and follow safety protocols

What You Need Required

• Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 3+ years of RN experience with at least 1.5 years in cath lab settings
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate during complex cardiac/procedural cases
• Experience with vascular and structural interventions (e.g., Impella, IABP, atherectomy)
• Valid driver's license for facility float shifts

Preferred

• Strong cath lab experience with versatility in multiple roles
• Experience with Merge hemodynamic systems
• RCIS certification desired but not required

About the Assignment Join a dedicated, 24/7 team at a leading healthcare facility in Bossier City, LA. This assignment involves supporting cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures within a busy cath lab environment, with opportunities to work across multiple facilities including high-acuity cases like TAVR and MitraClip. Orientation includes a week at the Innovation Center and additional precepting as needed. The schedule offers weekends every third week, along with rotating overnight call shifts.
