Job Title: Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - 48 Hrs/Week (Night Shift)

Job Description: Join the critical care team at Monument Health Rapid City Hospital! We are urgently seeking a highly skilled ICU RN for a fast-paced, 39-bed mixed Critical Care unit (MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU). This is a high-acuity, heavy trauma population requiring strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills.

Contract Details:

• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Shift: 12-hour Nights
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week (mandatory requirement)
• Rotation: Every other weekend preferred

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of non-travel ICU experience, plus at least 1 prior travel assignment (no first-time travelers).
• Clinical Skills: Ventilator management, hemodynamic lines, proning, and complex IV medications. Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT is strongly preferred.
• Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC (TNCC must be in-hand prior to arrival).
• EMR: Epic experience is strictly required.
• Radius Policy: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.

Important Scheduling Notes:

• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed (contract will be extended to complete a full 13 weeks).
• No RTO is permitted during holidays or the Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks of August).
