Hiring for Top Banking & Financial Clients in US. 2X President Club Winner Job Description: We’re seeking a highly motivated Lead Accountant to join our finance team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, manage month-end close, and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. You’ll play a critical part in process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities: Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting procedures Support audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate policies Collaborate with FP&A, AP, AR, and other departments on financial accuracy Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Experience working in enterprise or fast-paced environments Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Contract Job function Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Dexian by 2x Inferred from the description for this job 401(k) Vision insurance Medical insurance Get notified about new Accountant jobs in Charlotte, NC .
