Kidcreate Studio is looking for a passionate and energetic After School Enrichment Program Instructor to bring creativity and fun to kids in the Ashburn, VA area! This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds through hands-on, engaging activities in a supportive and vibrant environment. If you love working with children and have a knack for making learning exciting, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging after school enrichment lessons and activities for children
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Guide students through age-appropriate creative and educational projects
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive group dynamic
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and program coordinators
- Set up and clean up materials and supplies before and after each session
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and age groups
- Experience working with children in an educational, childcare, or enrichment setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a passion for youth development
- Ability to work part-time afternoon hours (2-6 pm), Monday through Friday
- Reliable transportation to program site(s) in Ashburn, Leesburg, Reston, Herndon, South Riding
- Background check required
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Weekend availability is a plus
