Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Customer Service in Paramus NJ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating with store personnel visitors and management.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor stock areas entrances exits and perimeter to help identify suspicious behavior and/or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts observe customer and visitor activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents daily activities and/or notable observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
