High School Paraprofessional
Location: Northern Valley Regional High School - Old Tappan
Job Description: Seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support high school teachers and students in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional areas to ensure a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities of the Paraprofessional:
- Support classroom teachers in managing classroom activities
- Assist students with designated tasks
- Help implement students' IEP-driven accommodations and modifications under the supervision of the classroom teacher
- Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 60 college credits
- Prefer HS Special Education Experience
Salary Range: $22,483 - $35,028
Additional Employment Requirements:
- Approved criminal history background check for district 3710
- Pass the Trash approval
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. Current residency in New Jersey or approved residency waiver, or candidate agreement to obtain residency within one year of employment.
Benefits: Full Time staff are eligible for Medical, Dental, and Prescription Benefits. Sick, Personal, and Bereavement Days are included.
