Portfolio Accountant

About The Company Our client is a real estate development company specializing in unique, community-driven residential buildings with a portfolio spanning throughout the US. Responsibilities Manage and perform month-end close process including preparation of financial reporting packages and commentary to owners/partners Preparation, validation, and tracking of detailed quarterly portfolio metrics around valuations, operations, and performance multifamily real estate portfolio Compile and analyze detailed budget variance reports, income, expense, capital expenditures, leasing costs, NOI, cash flow, and quarterly forecasts Assist in revenue management and budgeting through data mining and system generated analysis Preparation of annual property budgets and business plans Oversee and follow-up with property management regarding resident ledgers, account receivable resident aging, and gross potential revenue report/vacancy rent posting Requirements Bachelor’s degree in accounting 2-3 years of related accounting experience Knowledge of real estate and residential accounting Proficiency with Excel GAAP reporting experience Tax and IFRS reporting experience a plus Salary Range $75,000-$90,000 Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr Arrow Search Partners
