Personal Injury Legal Assistant

Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant to join our client to support the daily operations of a busy legal practice in Manchester, New Hampshire. This onsite, direct hire position plays an important role in keeping case files organized, ensuring timely court filings, and assisting attorneys with trial preparation. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant: Coordinate file management activities, including opening new matters, closing completed cases, and maintaining accurate electronic and paper records Manage incoming and outgoing communications by scanning, distributing, and drafting correspondence for clients, courts, and opposing counsel Support case progression by scheduling appointments, tracking court dates, and organizing deadlines and discovery materials Prepare legal documents and assist with filing processes across state and federal courts, including electronic submissions Assist attorneys in trial preparation by organizing exhibits, compiling medical records, and assembling comprehensive case materials Qualifications and Skills for the Legal Assistant: Experience supporting personal injury cases, including interaction with claims adjusters and management of related documentation Ability to gather, review, and organize medical records and prepare supporting evidence for legal proceedings Familiarity with court procedures, filing requirements, and adherence to discovery timelines Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe; experience with Filevine or similar systems is a plus Why Join Us?
