Whether you are a nurse, caregiver, culinary professional, maintenance worker or looking for a new career, we offer a wide range of career opportunities to fit your skills and interest.The Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent requiredTwo years of related experience preferredFormal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferredValid Driver's License requiredExpectations and Responsibilities:Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community.Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal.Completes all assigned maintenance work orders.Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems.Performs preventative maintenance.Maintains safety systems; such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security).Able to work independently or as part of a team.Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions.Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.Presbyterian Senior Living communities are backed by the support of a large not-for-profit organization, and are dedicated to our mission to provide compassionate, vibrant and supportive communities and services to promote wholeness of body, mind and spirit.
