Automotive Technician OpportunityStuckey Automotive is looking for enthusiastic, skilled and certified automotive technicians who want to take the next step in their career. We are growing fast and looking ahead we are hoping to fill our shop with skilled, talented and driven technicians to add to our already exceptional team.We are currently seeking an automotive technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair automotive vehiclesPerform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenanceProvide labor and time estimates for automotive repairsInspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustmentsFollows recommended service procedures, utilizing service manuals, computer diagnostic systems, technical service bulletins, and technical support to "Fix It Right The 1st Time"Attend training as necessary to increase quality and efficiency.Qualifications:PA state inspection and emissions licensePrevious experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fieldsKnowledge of diagnostic and repair equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsDeadline and detail-orientedWhy Stuckey's:Competitive wagesHealth/dental/vision benefits available after waiting periodCompany paid STD and life insuranceCompany matched 401(k)New state of the art facility and equipmentFamily owned and operated companyJob type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Health insurance / dental / visionPaid trainingSix paid holidays and PTOCompetitive wagesEmployer paid short term disabilityEmployer paid life insuranceGym reimbursement (up to $50/month)Schedule:Weekends as neededTypical hours (7-4p)Experience:Experience diesel/heavy vehicleLicense/Certification:Valid driver's license (required)Emissions preferredMotor vehicle inspection license (required)Pre Employment Clearances & Screenings (Required):Clean driving historyPre employment drug screeningBackground check(s)Work location: In person
