Discharge Lounge Coordinator - Methodist

OverviewShift: 10A-6P, Monday- Friday in our Discharge Lounge, 32 hours/weekResponsible for overseeing daily operations of the Discharge Lounge and facilitating safe, timely, and efficient patient discharges to the lounge. This role partners closely with inpatient nursing units, providers, care management, transportation services, and ancillary departments to improve patient flow, reduce discharge delays, and enhance the patient experience. The coordinator assesses patient readiness for discharge, provides ongoing monitoring and support while patients await transportation arrival.
