To succeed in this role, the Business Analyst should be intuitively analytical and comfortable explaining complex concepts to non-technical users. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Performance ManagementSupport the OCAO in launching and managing a formal program management office to monitor the performance and risks of units within ClusterTrack, analyze and report performance of the Administration Cluster to the CAOImplement Department rules and support the OCAO in monitoring strategic/operational performance against defined KPIsOversee and manage Administration Cluster’s budget and spending in collaboration with the CAOManage and track staffing levels and staff performance; to include onboarding and training, and coordination with People and Talent on learning opportunitiesData AnalyticsLeverage data and metrics to maintain a dynamic performance dashboard pertaining to the Cluster and generate reports as neededGenerate periodic status reports and deliver ad hoc data analysis to support the needs of the Administration ClusterLeverage existing DC Water data analytics tools in Oracle and upskill as needed to improve data management and analyticsInterpret Enterprise data and derive strategic insights to help drive performance improvementsExecutive CommunicationGenerate executive level dashboards and reports that can be presented to the CEO & General Manager, presented to the Board, or published on DC Water’s WebsiteCommunicate and present strategic and data driven insights to executives concisely and to the pointPerforms other related duties and projects at the direction of the immediate supervisor.Supervisory Responsibilities: N/AKey Working Relationships: This position will interact with staff throughout DC Water.Skills & Qualifications:The qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability necessary for an individual to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily.
