This role requires strong knowledge of Navy Shipyard Programs and Corporate Software Suites, Lean Six Sigma methodologies and practices; experience with process improvement, data gathering, analysis, and change management activities in the core focus areas.Maintaining, developing, and improving corporate, ship maintenance community business processesFacilitation and continuous process and performance improvement (CPPI) Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt services; technical writing and configuration management servicesThis position is contingent upon award. Incumbents are encouraged to apply!The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position is: $194,500.00 - $209,100.00The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.Core Duties:Provide subject matter expertise in continuous process improvement for consistency, efficiency, and standardization across NAVSEA, NSSO, and related communitiesDevelop and implement change strategies, governance, and workflows for shipyard business processesFacilitate and support technical conferences, meetings, and symposia, including content development and analysisProvide event management support with Lean Six Sigma or equivalent services, including process mapping, data analysis, and cost-benefit assessmentsCoordinate reviews and consensus-building for AIM-NG chapters and other process documentationDeliver functional expertise and user experience for Ship Maintenance Community Corporate IT Software SuiteAnalyze business cases and facilitate requirements development for changes to IT applications and business processesSupport IT development, execution, and release assessments, including effectiveness and lessons learnedParticipate in Digital Program Office (DPO) reviews and IT management board meetings Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of corporate metrics, dashboards, and data visualizations for ship maintenance and analytics Conduct continual program and software life-cycle planning, data mining, alternatives assessments, and prediction and decision support analytics in support of NAVSEA metricsIntegrate data from multiple shipyard IT systems to enable comprehensive analytics and reportingEnsure data integrity, quality, and security across all supported systemsCollaborate with Data Architects and Programmers to implement data-driven solutionProvide business process analysis, requirements development, and documentation Support project documentation, status reporting, and deliverable trackingAssist with resource planning, budget management, and responses to data calls and inquiriesParticipate in program reviews, kick-off meetings, and special reviews, providing business process and IT system expertiseApply knowledge of NSY business processes and shipyard IT infrastructures, including system interface diagramsDevelop and maintain business process and requirements maps, including "As Is" and future state documentationSupport digital transformation initiatives and user experience analysis for IT systemsParticipate in Technical User Groups (TUGs), Metric Community of Practice (MCoP), and IT management board meetingsProvide business process analysis and requirements development support for NSSO program managementSupport document development, documentation, status reports, and deliverables trackingAssist with resource planning, budget management, and responses to data calls for NSSO program support Participate in program reviews, kick-off meetings, and special reviews as required, providing business process and IT system expertiseTravel Requirements10 - 25%Job RequirementsRequirements:Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business, Engineering, or Industrial OperationsAt least 10 years of experience in process improvement, including data gathering, analysis, change management, process implementation, and evaluation activitiesAt least 5 years of experience supporting process or performance improvement efforts within the Naval Shipyards, or at least 5 years of Ship Maintenance Corporate Software Suite Functional and Process Knowledge/ExperienceMust have an Active Secret Security ClearanceMust have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Highly Desired Qualifications (If applicable)Master's in a field related to Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent fieldAt least 15 years of experience in process improvement, including data gathering, analysis, change management, process implementation, and evaluation activitiesProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationLSS Black Belt or Green Belt Certification or equivalent certification in a similar process improvement methodologyCape Fox Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates provide equal employment opportunities to all persons and prohibit employment decisions on the basis of race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, political affiliation, protected veteran status, or sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
