System Administrator (IPSoft's IPCenter/1Desk/Amelia)Location: Pennington NJDuration: Full TimeSalary plus BenefitsNote: Can work Remote as of now but later has to work onsiteRequired:Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience isMinimum 12-15 years of experience in IT industryExperience in the securities or financial services industry is a plusAt least 3-4 years of extensive experience in administrating IPSoft's IPCenter/1Desk/AmeliaAt least 10+years in experience in server side infrastructure build/support/management which includesOperating Unix/Linux/Solaris SystemsAt least 5+years in experience in Dockers/Kubernetes image development & containers managementAt least 5- 10 years' experience in Unix Shell Scripting, Python, Ruby and CurlStrong experience in infrastructure capacity sizingDevelopment of automation workflows for L1 Operations Run book.Performing DR& FOS (Fail & Stay) for Applications.Design, install, and configure network, software, and hardwareManage servers and technology toolsMonitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements using AppD, Splunk, Elk etc..Troubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure through access controls, backups and firewalls, etc.Manage the upgrade of systems with new releases and modelsMaintain and update documentation of procedures and configurations as requiredManage assigned service providers to agreed SLA'sMaintain awareness or risks that affect the infrastructureContinual assessment of infrastructure and provide rapid remediation of risk as necessaryRecommend software and hardware solutions comprising of upgrades and new acquisitionsInform management about industry innovations and recommend relevant upgradesAt least 8+years of experience in coordinating/leading offshore teams and delivering projectsExperience in infrastructure runbook Automations is added advantageEffective verbal/written communication along with strong interpersonal skills.
