The designer will assist a senior project manager throughout schematic design to construction documents in projects that include custom residential, commercial, museum exhibition design, and historic preservation of modernist icons in the Los Angeles region. Responsibilities Work closely with Principals and Senior Project Manager in Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction Documents Phases Develop accurate physical and virtual three-dimensional models of projects using Revit and other 3D software Help prepare drawing packages under the guidance of senior personnel Be a self‑motivated person able to work independently and efficiently with minimal direction Demonstrate graphics/design sensibility through work samples that align with the firm’s aesthetics Basic Requirements Professional Degree in Architecture (minimum B. Arch or equivalent) Strong visual presentation skills with rendering using 3D modeling software Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD; ability to create BIM content Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and/or Illustrator Good communication skills and ability to work independently Good organizational skills, including scheduling and correspondence Attention to detail and excellent problem‑solving skills Basic knowledge of architectural building systems with ability to create structural, mechanical and other engineering drawings under guidance of senior personnel Eligibility to work in the U.S. immediately upon selection Benefits Employee benefits include full health insurance coverage.
