The Sales Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in our beautiful showroom in the heart of NYC overlooking Bryant Park. We're looking for a highly organized, energetic, and motivated Sales Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about fashion, enjoys building relationships, and is eager to develop & grow with potential in all areas of our company. As a key member of our sales team, you'll work closely with the VP Sales & Business Development to support customer relationships, showroom operations, sales analysis, and daily business activities AND you'll have exposure and work closely with Marketing, Design & Production Departments. You'll receive hands‑on training, but we're looking for someone with a little experience and who is proactive, learns quickly, and is self‑motivated & excited to take on increasing responsibility. What You’ll Bring: A positive, team-first attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed—no task is too big or too small. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for building customer relationships. A strong interest in fashion, sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. Enthusiasm for the TailorByrd brand and a desire to contribute to its continued growth. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and spreadsheet creation for sales reporting and analysis. Knowledge of Canva a huge plus KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Support the VP Sales Development during customer appointments and market appointments. Communicate with retail partners regarding inventory availability, sample requests, and order follow-up. Prepare order templates, sales materials, inventory reports, and sales analysis. Maintain showroom organization, merchandising, and presentation to ensure a premium customer experience. Coordinate, organize, and track selling samples and seasonal collections. Update catalogs, price lists, and other sales support materials. Assist with administrative responsibilities that support the sales team and overall business. Collaborate closely with Design, Production, Marketing, Digital, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure seamless execution across the business.
