Tsugami America is seeking an Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for recent technical school graduates, early-career technicians, or individuals with hands-on mechanical or electrical aptitude who want to learn and grow.As a Field Service Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, and repair of Tsugami CNC machine tool equipment at customer facilities throughout New England. No prior CNC service experience is required—we provide a structured, in-house training program and ongoing technical development to set you up for success.What You Will Contribute:With training and support from experienced technicians, you will:Travel to customer sites to assist with the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machine tool equipment and controlsLearn how to identify performance issues and assist with preventative maintenance to maximize machine uptimeSupport the diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic componentsUse machine manuals, technical documentation, and internal resources to research and resolve machine issuesCommunicate professionally with customers regarding service status, next steps, and completed workComplete service documentation accurately (service reports, install reports, etc.)Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teamsParticipate in ongoing technical training, safety training, and manufacturer-led seminarsContinuously develop your technical knowledge of Tsugami product lines and evolving CNC technologyOther Functions:Perform related duties as required.The duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
