You will develop the ability to communicate with customers and have a direct hand in changing and improving the equipment we manufacture.Summary of Responsibility:The Field Service Technician will develop an understanding of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. You will learn the basics of the business and be responsible for installing and troubleshooting our equipment. The Service Engineer will communicate directly with customers to gather data directly from the field to continuously improve our products and our customers' experience.What You Will Contribute:Frequent travel both local and nationalInstall and commission equipment in the fieldTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical systemsCreate product improvements based on customer feedbackAssemble to prints and bill of materialsProviding live technical support via phone and emailPerform root cause analysis on failures in the fieldCoordinate with the engineering team to constantly improve products and installation processesOther Functions:Perform related duties as requiredThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
