Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this in-person, contract role, you will play a crucial part in shaping educational pathways for students, conducting comprehensive evaluations as part of a bilingual special education team. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certification for New Jersey
• Previous experience in special education, ideally working with K-12 students
• Professional fluency in Spanish (written and spoken)
• Background in conducting student evaluations and making effective educational recommendations
• Strong organizational and collaborative skills
• Comfortable working onsite in a school district setting
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards in assessment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough learning evaluations for K-12 students, assessing educational needs, strengths, and challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to interpret evaluation results and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning
• Prepare clear, comprehensive assessment documentation for a range of learners
• Provide culturally and linguistically sensitive services for Spanish-speaking students and families
• Maintain detailed records and adhere to all state and district protocols
• Work primarily with evaluation caseloads, focusing on high-impact student assessment
