Desired Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• Active Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC) licensure for New Jersey
• Special Education Teacher certification
• Demonstrated experience in K-12 school settings
• Strong knowledge of special education best practices, with emphasis on bilingual learners
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive educational evaluations for students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and families to support accurate assessment and recommendations
• Deliver clear written and oral reports to inform Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational planning
• Serve as a resource for cultural and linguistic considerations during evaluations
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all state and district special education regulations
