Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend / Every Other Holiday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry monitoring capabilities
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Manage a patient assignment of 5–6 patients per shift in accordance with unit staffing ratios
• Float to additional campuses within the health system as needed to support patient care demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Remote telemetry monitoring experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance (2 attempts permitted); required of all RNs regardless of specialty

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Charge RN experience preferred
