Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, including a specialized stroke and neuro patient population
• Manage telemetry monitoring, including remote monitoring, and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Perform and manage vascular access including peripheral lines, central lines, PICC lines, port access, and IV starts
• Administer blood products and provide feeding tube care and management
• Implement isolation precautions and perform wound care, including wound vac management
• Float between multiple facility campuses as required, maintaining safe patient care standards at a 1:5–1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Telemetry experience with remote monitoring required; on-unit monitoring experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• On-unit telemetry monitoring experience (in addition to remote monitoring)
• Experience caring for stroke and neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with nasal cannula oxygen delivery and CVA patient management
