This travel opportunity involves perioperative nursing in a high-volume care program. The RNFA works under the direction of the primary operating surgeon to support perioperative patients and leads nursing activities in the operating suite. The position is represented by CNA.

Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care in the perioperative period, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care while maintaining established Standards of Nursing Practice.
- Promote cooperation among the health care team and ensure care meets Tenet Standards of Conduct (Service, People, Quality, Growth, Cost).
- Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care; fulfill the RNFA functions within facility policies and guidelines.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in the expanded RNFA role, guiding team members and ensuring patient safety.
- Maintain accurate documentation, participate in handoffs, and support postoperative care as part of the surgical service team.

Requirements
- Active California RN license (unrestricted)
- Perioperative nursing experience or RNFA background preferred
- Ability to work 10-hour daytime shifts in a travel assignment (4x10)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to follow physician direction and facility policies
- Eligibility for travel assignments and valid credentials as required by the assignment
