Emergency Room Registered Nurse Float

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Job Description

This position requires a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse Float who will move between two emergency departments: a Level I Trauma Center and a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates must have experience in trauma care and be prepared to provide critical support in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of emergency medical care to patients in a trauma setting.
• Float between emergency departments as needed to meet patient care demands.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room RN experience, with prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Active RN license with no hits on state license to practice.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC from approved vendors.
• Verifiable travel experience is highly preferred.
• Skills checklist for Emergency Room must be completed within the last 12 months.
