We are seeking a midlevel Corporate Finance associate to join our Charlotte or Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate will have two to six years of sophisticated law firm experience with private equity, private credit, commercial lending, and mezzanine finance transactions. The candidate should have experience representing both lenders and borrowers in connection with secured and unsecured syndicated credit facilities, asset-based loans, and acquisition financings. Experience with loan workouts and restructurings is preferred. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service. Base Compensation $210,000 - $360,000 / year The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
