Snelling is currently seeking an upbeat and professional Accounting Clerk for an amazing automotive dealership in the Hoover area. Starting Pay $19.00-20.00/hr. Leveraging your specialized expertise, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities of Accounting Clerk:
- Prepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledger accounts
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial information and analysis
- Comply with all applicable accounting standards and internal control procedures
Qualifications Needed for Accounting Clerk:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience as an Accounting Specialist or similar role
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with accounting principles and regulations
- Bookkeeping and QuickBooks experience is a must
