We're already generating revenue and with plenty of runway, we're looking to scale the business.We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior HR Manager to own and scale our HR operations as Coram continues to grow across the U.S., UK, and India.This is a broad HR leadership role for someone who has experience across the full employee lifecycle, not just one specialized area of HR. You'll inherit many of our existing HR operations and programs, quickly learn what we have in place, and take ownership of refining and scaling them as the company grows.You'll oversee areas including payroll, compliance, employee relations, performance management, compensation adjustments, policies, benefits, and broader people operations. You'll also manage a small, distributed HR team and partner closely with leadership across the organization.This role is based in our Sunnyvale, California office five days per week. Because Coram has employees across the U.S., UK, and India, flexibility across time zones will occasionally be required.Own and continuously improve day-to-day HR operations across CoramManage, develop, and build a small HR team of approximately 2–3 people, potentially distributed across multiple countries and time zonesLearn Coram's existing HR infrastructure, systems, policies, and programs and identify opportunities to strengthen and scale themOversee established payroll, benefits, compliance, employee relations and employee administration processesOwn and refine performance management processes, including performance cycles, employee feedback, manager enablement, and performance improvementPartner with leadership on compensation reviews and adjustments, promotions, leveling, and other employee changesAdvise and support managers on employee relations, performance concerns, organizational changes, and other complex people mattersEnsure HR policies and practices remain compliant as Coram grows across U.S. states and international marketsPartner closely with Finance, Recruiting, and company leadership on headcount planning, onboarding, offboarding, compensation, and broader people initiativesEvaluate and optimize our HR technology stack, leveraging modern systems, automation, integrations, and AI-enabled tools to make HR more efficient and scalableUse HR data and employee feedback to identify trends, surface issues, and help leadership make informed people decisionsBuild scalable HR processes without introducing unnecessary bureaucracyRemain hands-on and willing to jump into the details when needed8+ years of progressive HR experience with broad exposure across multiple HR functionsExperience working within a growing organization of approximately 200–500 employees, where you've had responsibility across multiple facets of HRExperience managing and developing a team of approximately 2–3+ peopleStrong experience across HR operations, employee relations, performance management, compensation, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle managementExperience owning or significantly contributing to performance management and compensation review processesExperience supporting employees and managers across multiple locations and time zonesStrong understanding of U.S. employment practices and multi-state HR complianceExperience using modern HR technology, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, performance management, and other people systemsComfortable leveraging automation, integrations, AI, and emerging technologies to streamline HR workflows and reduce manual workStrong judgment and the ability to independently navigate complex employee and organizational situationsExperience partnering directly with executives and senior leadersComfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving prioritiesExcellent communication, organization, and stakeholder-management skillsAbility to work five days per week in our Sunnyvale, California officeFlexibility to occasionally work outside traditional hours to support employees and team members across the UK and IndiaExperience working within a high-growth technology or startup environmentExperience supporting an international employee populationDirect HR experience supporting teams in the UK and/or IndiaExperience managing a distributed or international HR teamExperience helping an organization scale through the 200–500+ employee stageExperience implementing, migrating, or optimizing HR technology and systemsExperience building or significantly improving performance management, compensation, leveling, or promotion frameworksExperience using AI and automation to modernize HR operationsCompetitive compensation100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, and base life insuranceFlexible paid time off plus 10 paid holidays401(k) with both Traditional and Roth optionsEquity in a rapidly growing companyThe latest Apple technology and modern tools so you can do your best workA sharp, mission-driven team focused on solving meaningful problemsSignificant ownership and the opportunity to shape how HR operates as Coram scales globallyThe chance to build the people infrastructure behind a rapidly growing AI company
