Early Childhood Teacher (Ages 2–3)

Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and energetic Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and support the growth and development of children ages 2–3 years old. The ideal candidate is committed to creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment where toddlers can explore, discover, and build confidence through play-based learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.
• Foster a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Support children's development of self-help skills, independence, and positive social interactions.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress and developmental milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's growth, achievements, and daily experiences.
• Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety guidelines, and center policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive school culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA, associate degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a positive, patient, and professional demeanor.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to meet all state licensing and background check requirements.
