Job Summary The Depository Operations Executive is responsible for handling day-to-day depository (DP) operations, ensuring smooth processing of client demat account activities, compliance with regulatory guidelines (NSDL/CDSL, SEBI), and maintaining accurate records related to securities transactions. Key Responsibilities Demat Account Handling — Opening, modification, and closure of client Demat accounts; processing KYC verification and documentation as per regulatory norms; ensuring accurate data entry in DP systems Transaction Processing — Execution of off-market and on-market transfers; handling delivery instruction slips (DIS) and electronic instructions; monitoring pledge/unpledge, dematerialization, rematerialization requests Corporate Actions — Processing dividends, bonuses, rights, and splits; tracking client entitlements and ensuring correct posting in accounts Reconciliation & Reporting — Daily reconciliation of client holdings with depository records; identifying and resolving discrepancies; preparing MIS and operational reports Compliance & Audit — Ensuring adherence to SEBI, NSDL, and CDSL regulations; maintaining audit-ready documentation; supporting internal and external audits Client Servicing — Addressing client queries related to Demat accounts and transactions; providing prompt resolution to complaints; assisting relationship managers with operational support Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of NSDL/CDSL processes Knowledge of SEBI regulations and compliance norms Attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in MS Excel and back-office systems Ability to work under tight deadlines Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or related field Certification such as NISM (Depository Operations module) preferred Preferred Experience Experience working with stock broking firms, DP operations, or financial services firms Familiarity with trading and settlement lifecycle (T+1/T+2 process) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Accuracy in transaction processing Turnaround time for client requests Compliance adherence and audit outcomes Error rate and reconciliation efficiency Career Growth Path Senior Depository Operations Executive Assistant Manager – Operations Manager – DP Operations #J-18808-Ljbffr Jainam Share Consultants Pvt Ltd.
