Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor. Job Description Typical duties include but are not limited to: Plans and teaches in assigned course(s). Prepare syllabi on time via Simple Syllabus Prepare instruction materials and coordinate lectures and tests. Provide professional mentoring to students. Use the Canvas teaching platform to manage courses, including for up-to-date attendance and grade records. Keeps abreast of new information and developments in field of instruction. Participates in institutional meetings. Contribute to course and/or curriculum development, if applicable. Function as an effective, active, and collegial team member. Other duties: Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications: Master''s degree in related field or eighteen (18+) graduate credit hours from a regionally accredited institution. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Promote a common purpose consistent with stated University goals, and demonstrate a commitment to students and the learning environment. Possess the knowledge of general written standards and procedures, and have the ability to read, interpret, and follow procedural and policy manuals related to the job tasks. Provide quality customer service by creating a welcoming and supportive environment. Present a professional image in word, action, and attire.
