Overview
Neurodiagnostic Technologist – EMG Tech in Philadelphia, PA, US. Start: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 1,773 to 1,879 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 7:00am–3:00pm. Work in an acute care setting under a directed neurodiagnostic services program, with a travel‑temporary assignment arrangement.

Responsibilities
- Perform nerve conduction studies and assist physicians with needle EMG examinations in the laboratory and at the bedside.
- Provide care for young adult, adult, and geriatric patients; communicate effectively with physicians, administrators, and staff.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain EMG equipment; assemble/disassemble equipment for each patient case; follow cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Record testing responses, differentiate normal from abnormal results, and document findings in the electronic health record and billing data.
- Compile monthly statistics and contribute to teaching, mentoring, and precepting colleagues and students in the field.

Requirements
- Experience performing EMG testing, including nerve conduction studies and needle EMG procedures
- Proficiency with EMG equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of patient history, anatomy, and clinical context relevant to EMG testing
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, staff, and learners
- Computer proficiency (MS Office) and accurate data entry into the electronic health record
- Ability to work in an acute care environment with adult and geriatric patients
