We have value work/life balance as much as you do!The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting in managing all aspects of a construction project, including invoicing, vendor billing, schedule and budget management, and communicating with customers. This individual must display a high degree of professionalism, organization and cooperation with customers and coworkers.Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge: Construction Project ManagementPrepare all contract documentation including subcontract agreements, change orders & material purchase orders for project manager reviewEnter RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation in management softwareManage and keep up to date RFI, submittal, change order, and other project documentation logs in management softwareCompile and prepare monthly invoices for review with project managerReview customer billing requirements within the contract and complete as necessaryManage project file integrityManage site specific badging/access requirements for employees as neededPrepare for, assist with, and record weekly project meetingsSupport project manager with their duties as neededSkills, Qualifications, Experience: Assistant Project ManagerBachelor's Degree - engineering preferredExperience working directly with Federal Government or large institutions on construction contracts strongly preferredAbility to assist with multiple projectsAbility to assist multiple project managersExperience working in a fast-paced office environmentProficient with spreadsheets and project management softwareAbility to multi-task and prioritize workloadExceptional organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple prioritiesEffective team playerExcellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in EnglishSuperior written, oral and digital communication skillsExperience with email, internet, Microsoft Office products (including Excel and Word) and other management softwareMatos Builders is an equal opportunity employer.
