Bookkeeper

Century Group's client is seeking a Bookkeeper. You will assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financials, including journal entries, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and supporting the CFO with general accounting projects. High attention to detail, reliability, and a basic knowledge of accounting are essential for this position. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $75,000 to $85,000 per year.

• Contribute to policy development and process improvement.
  
  
• Participate in various projects with the Controller and CFO.
  
  
• Prepare and file financial documents.
  
  
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  
  
• Handle month-end tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial consolidation.
  
  
• Document and monitor financial transaction details.
  
  
• Analyze payroll data and conduct reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
  
  
• Fact-check accounting data.
  
  
• Research, analyze, and correct irregularities in payroll outputs and reconciliations.
  
  
• Perform monthly and year-end close activities.
  
  
• Process payroll and track payroll data.
  
  
• Assist with tax payments and returns.
