With rapid growth and increasing operational complexity, we're seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with QuickBooks expertise and experience managing bookkeeping processes in a growing company.What You'll DoManage Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.QuickBooks Oversight: Maintain and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows for accuracy and efficiency.Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and support management with actionable insights.Tax & Compliance: Ensure timely sales tax filings, payroll tax compliance, and other regulatory reporting.Process Improvement: Recommend and implement bookkeeping and accounting process improvements to drive operational efficiency.Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and management to support strategic initiatives.Mentorship & Leadership: Guide junior accounting staff or assistants as the team grows.What We're Looking ForExperience: 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in QuickBooks Online.Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.Experience in a fast-growing company or small business environment is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required.On-site availability in Walnut Creek, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.Compensation & Benefits$90,000 annual salaryHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchFlexible PTOOn-site parking in Walnut CreekOpportunity for career growth into Controller or Finance Manager roles as the company expandsWhy Safe and SoundJoin a fast-growing, innovative company with a team-oriented cultureWork with modern tools and cloud-based systems to streamline financial operationsMake a tangible impact on the company's growth and financial healthParticipate in team events, celebrations, and cross-functional collaboration
