Responsibilities include: Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, responsible for supporting pharmacy operations in the preparation, compounding, and distribution of medications for patient care. This role specializes in sterile compounding, hazardous drug handling and compliance with USP <797> , <800> and institutional policies. The IV specialist ensures medication accuracy, safety and timely delivery while collaborating closely with nurses and pharmacy personnel. This position will provide technical leadership, training, quality assurance support, inventory management and workflow oversight to maintain optimal pharmacy operations and patient safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Certification/Registration: California Pharmacy Technician License Certification by National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (CPhT) within 6 months of hire Certification by a national pharmacy technician certification board in sterile compounding preparation (CSPT) required within 1 year of hire 2 years' pharmacy technician experience with 1 year sterile compounding
• Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: CPhT and CSPT 5 years' experience preferred 2 years compounding experience
