Chief Nursing Officer

Position Summary

The Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) provides executive leadership and oversight of nursing and clinical services, with responsibility for patient care quality, regulatory compliance, operational performance, workforce development, and achievement of organizational goals. The CNO collaborates with executive leadership, physicians, and clinical leaders to promote safe, high-quality patient care and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides strategic and operational leadership for nursing and clinical services.
• Ensures quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees staffing, productivity, budgets, and effective use of resources.
• Leads and develops nursing leadership while supporting recruitment and retention.
• Collaborates with executive leadership and medical staff on organizational and clinical initiatives.
• Participates in labor relations, collective bargaining, and resolution of staff concerns.
• Serves as Administrator on Call as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current unrestricted California RN license.
• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related healthcare field.
• Seven (7) years of progressive nursing leadership/administration experience, including senior or executive leadership.
• Ten (10) years of experience managing multiple clinical departments and nursing leaders.
• Must meet applicable Title 22 requirements for Administrator of Nursing Services.

Job Type : Full-time, Days

Pay : $330K-$345K/annually
